DENSELL CLASSIC VITREOUS IONOMER

Densell Classic vitreous ionomer for use as a liner or cavity base. USE: This restorative material based on ionomer glass is formulated to be used as a dentine replacement in restorations type I and II in posteriors, below amalgams and composites. When the case to be treated requires a thick layer, the application of denominates base or bottom of cavity, when it is only a thin layer is called liner. ATTRIBUTES: The objective of this material is to generate an insoluble, biocompatible base that isolates and covers the dentinal tissue close to the pulp in order to achieve a good thermal and mechanical isolation avoiding postoperative sensitivity, due to its insulating qualities and its null contraction to setting.
