CLASSICAL GLASS IONOMER

Classical Glass ionomer for cementing - Type 1 USE: This material is for cementation of crowns, bridges, inlay, onlay, veneers and different types of fixed prostheses. It is composed in its powder by particles of ceramic glass that when mixed with the liquid form a material that by action of the liberation of ions generates an adhesion with the substrates of enamel and dentine on one side and the prosthesis on the other. Advantages: Adhesion itself without bonding or intermediaries that allows an adequate fixation, no contraction and also extremely low solubility before the buccal fluids in comparison with the traditional cements of phosphate or polycarboxylate.
